Arezzo VDL his sire line is unique with five generations of Grand Prix stallions in a row and also that each of those stallions have produced Grand Prix horses! Chin Chin, Heartbreaker, Renville, Jasper and Akteur all have done this.
The mare line guarantees sport horses, as it has produces lots of good sport horses already, for example, Dragonfly ridden by Nicole Shahinian-Simpson and Nacorde who won the Derby of Hamburg twice with his rider Andre Thieme. Both are brothers to Arezzo’s mother the ‘Star’ mare Sarjolijn. Granddam Parjolijn is the mother to the Grand Prix horse Easy Boy.
Arezzo VDL was one of the two 3 year old champions of the Spring stallion testing in Holland. In the report of the testing the judges liked him a lot for jumping because of his amazing reflexes, good technique, ability to open his haunches well over the jump, carefulness and that he shows a lot of scope. He scored the following fr
om the judges: reflexes a 9½, technique 8½, scope 9, rideability, work attitude and potential as jumper a 9.
Expected breeding value: 163.
