Ferro is ranked #1 on the BN World Stallion Rankings for dressage horses.  Ferro won team silver at the 1998 World Equestrian Games, 1999 European Championships and 2000 Olympic Games. In 2000 he placed second in the World Cup Finals in 's Hertogenbosch having scored over 80% for their kur to music. He was the KWPN "Horse of the Year" in 1998. He has many approved sons including: Metal, Kennedy, Rhodium, Rousseau, , Negro, Special D, Lorenzo.  In 2002 Olympic Ferro once again had the highest scores on the Dutch Olympic team. He is currently ranked #8 on the WBFSH for dressage stallions.
