In this breeding we see three stallions that performed at the highest level in the jumping sport. Sire Corland proved himself as a breeding stallion. In his pedigree we see the ‘Preferent’ stallions Nimmerdor, Joost and Courville xx. They sired many international show jumpers and stallions with names like Ahorn, Jasper, Renville, V.I.P., Goldenbridge, etc.

The dam line descends from an imported Holstein mare which is bred out of a strong breeding and performing family. The black Grand Dam of Pacific is ‘Preferent Prestatie.’ She produced the international show jumper Intermezzo. The dam of Pacific is the black ‘Preferent’ mare Joyful Lady who performed twice in the National Mare Test. She also produced the approved stallion Radisson.

Pacific won the Stallion Test in 2000. He obtained the highest points in years. He received for jumping 9, 8, 8½ and 9 and for gaits 7½, 7, 8½, 7½. This made him a real ‘Test Topper’. He was also winner of the stallion competition.

Pacific is competing now at International level with his rider W.J. van der Schans. They are one of the most winning combinations in the young horse classes at the European shows. In 2005 he won the final and a qualification class at the International Young Horse Competition at Bremen, two classes for 7- 8 years old horses at Hachenburg, 1.40 Helsinki, 1.35 Mierlo, 1.30 Meise, 1.35 Haaksbergen. Besides all these victories he also placed 2nd at a 1.50 class in Oldenburg, 3rd & 4th in Donauschingen, 4th 1.40 Leeuwarden, 4th 1.40 Gijon, etc.

Offspring of Pacific strike you with their 3 good gaits and their extra jumping qualities. His first 3-4 year old horses are selling easily.
