Uriel is by Olympic Ferro who competed at the 2000 Olympics and assisted his team in achieving a team silver medal with an individual score of 74.92%. In 2002 Olympic Ferro once again had the highest scores on the Dutch Olympic team. As a three-year-old he was champion of his performance test at Ermelo. He has many approved sons and champion daughters and he is #1 on the BN World Stallion Rankings for dressage. His sire Ulft, is a son of the great Le Mexico, who is listed 10th on the jumping index with 142 points. Le Mexico carries Furioso xx blood, which brings value to any pedigree. His "keur" dam Okika is by Zeoliet who was a great success at the performance test at Ermelo with 9.2 for dressage, 9 for jumping under saddle and 9.5 for free jumping.  Zeoliet has been successful in the National Stallion Competitions and he went extraordinarily well in ZZ dressage with Roger Schulkens. Zeoliet is high on the dressage index but also on the jumping index.  His sire Ramiro is the sire of several approved stallions in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands as well as the sire of internationally known horses such as: Donau, Ramzes, Almox Rosella, Rinnetou Z, Rolex, Zamira and Ratina Z. Okika's dam Tolanda is by the keur stallion Eros who is found in the pedigree of many top Dutch dressage horses. Eros is by the preferent stallion Amor who in 1997 was the only stallion in the world who was listed on the top dam sires rankings for both international dressage horses and international jumpers. Uriel was National Champion for USDF in hand in 2002. He was later "ster" rated and #2 at the DG Bar keuring and #4 in the National top five for KWPN dressage geldings.
