Dutch horses in the Olympic trials

I had the opportunity to watch the selection trials for show jumping and shoot some photo's recently here in Southern California and it was fantastic to see how many horses competing in these trials were Dutch Warmbloods.    Out of the 34 starters 11 of the horses were Dutch and what a great accomplishment to even make it to this level of competition!  The number breakdown on major breeds in the starters was: Dutch 11, Holstein 5, Oldenburg 1, Hannoverian 5, Westfalen 1, Belgian 2, Irish Sport horse 3, Selle francais 1 Swedish 3, Trek 1 and TB 1.   It will be interesting to see how the other teams develop.
