 Lacapo developed into one of the better products of Landgraf I taking third in the German stallion jumping index in his category.

He produced a number of approved sons which all had good results in their performance tests.  He produced approved daughters

 including Athene IV who was the Champion mare of Holstein in 1989.  His Holstein description reads in part:

medium sized stallion with good expression and beautiful neck carriage.  Very good mover and jumper.
