Rosenkavalier is considered to be one of the most significant Westphalian sires. He was the winner of the Stallion Performance Test at Warendorf in 1983. He sired 471 registered offspring. His most famous sons include Rubenstein, the Grand Prix dressage horse Rubens, and and Rembrant. His offspring have been successful in the dressage ring and in show jumping . His offspring are known for confidence and trainability
